The Convent Of Santa Catalina ALPACA?

THE CONVENT OF SANTA CATALINA
AREQUIPA is the second largest city in Peru, but this is not a big city, maybe we can call it "town". It's famous of beautiful square with white Cathedral, marvelous montain named Misty (it means "Mister Great" in local language Quechua, looks little bit similar to Mt.Fuji in Japan), and this convent , established 1579.

Used to be, once they entered this convent, monks prohibited to go out to the external world, and they kept this system until the year 1968. Now 22 monks live in this convent (no problem to go out), and makes dairy and natural products.

AREQUIPA
Located 2380meters (7800 feet) high. It's lower than Cuzco, but some people can get a mountain sickness. I met these Alpacas at the souvenir shop in Arequipa. This shop was selling many kinds of wool products, also has a farm for Alpacas, too. I bought a muffler, because it's very soft to the touch.

Alpacas were eating grasses peacefully, and he's very cute, don't you think so??? Sometimes I confuse "Alpaca" and "Llama", because they are so similer, also confuse "Arequipa" and "Alpaca", too.

Birds In Great Amazon

AMAZON
Vast, it expand not only in Brazil, but also in Peru and Bolivia. I took a boat from Iquitos, Peru, to entered to "The Heart Of Amazon", but it was only 1 hour boat riding.

I was staying "Sinchicuy Lodge", it was not a hotel, they don't have electricity, no hot water, no television, no telephone in the room, but we can buy tasty peruan beer "Cristal". In this"Jungle Lodge" you will meet many kind of animals, you can see monkies, too!!! These parrots are very good friend each other, because both of them caught their food at a same time!!!
